Foundation of the school
In October 2011 the School of Polish Language was founded on parents’ initiative. In April 2012 the management of the school was overtaken by the Polish Culture and Education Association in Austria (Polnischer Bildungs- und Kulturverein in Österreich), which was founded by parents and teachers from the school.
In the first General Meeting of Members, a resolution was passed, according to which the name of the school was changed to the First Polish Private School in Austria.
Mr. Arkadiusz Rusowicz – co-founder of the school, Polish teacher and Polish speech therapist in Austria - was appointed as the school’s head teacher.
Development and school’s activity
In the school year 2014/2015 there were over 90 students attending the school.
Almost 120 students is attending the school in the present year. A friendly atmosphere in the school aims at learning Polish language, history and culture. The schools pays particular attention to the individual development of every student.
